The CFL Players’ Association Announces 2022 All-Star Team

Regina, SK – The CFL Players’ Association (CFLPA) tonight announced the 2022 CFLPA All-Star team at a special event during this year’s Grey Cup festival in Regina.

CFLPA All-Star nominations are considered to be highly prestigious awards as they are voted on by peers – for the players and by the players.

The 2022 ballot was made available to all CFLPA members on each team that competed in a minimum of 1 game this season. There were more than 450 ballots cast and only players who had played 12 or more games during this season were eligible to be on a ballot.

Players could not vote for any player or coach who is a member of their own team and could only vote for other players they most closely study and compete directly against week in and week out. For example, wide receivers and slot backs were voted for by defensive backs.

In addition, all CFLPA members voted for one 2022 All-Star Head Coach and one Special Teams Player.
