It’s great news. The salary cap remains too low and fans want to see star players in the CFL. There should be a marquee player exemption clause attached to the salary cap. Then maybe they’ll reinstate Johnny Manziel and bring in Baker Mayfield after he gets dumped by the Browns. A marquee player exemption would have allowed a CFL team to sign Metchie III. There needs to be quality player attraction to fill the seats of the CFL.
